Last month I was lucky enough to be asked to go to Weydon School in Surrey to support their whole staff Life training day. It was an exciting and energising experience so I’d like to share some of the highlights with you. In our current economic climate Local Authorities are having to make all kinds of reductions to the support many schools have relied on in the past. A significant number of LAs have had to make substantial cutbacks in areas such as curriculum link advisors that used to go in and support teachers and the curriculum. Our schools are seeing online collaboration between their clusters as even more important now as a way to share good practice and support each other in areas of school improvement and across the curriculum.
