As well as the changes to how images are added, the new content editor makes it easier to link to resources you have created within your Life site.
This is done through the Advanced tab of the Add resource option. From here you can link to any resource (blog, wiki, page, file etc.) that you have created or uploaded into your subsite. The link can either be created onto an exisiting image or piece of text by highlighting that first or can be inserted directly as the name of the resource or a thumbnail image.
This feature allows you to add links in context, rather than just through a resource list cell, and is particularly useful when you want to draw attention to a particular resource or file.
